I have been very busy lately creating artwork for a collection that I call Decomotion. The name describes the idea of decorative emotion (or commotion if you’d prefer.) The collection is my attempt at creating something graphic that’s more visually interesting. Each piece is a visual story that I want to tell. The 4’x2′ paintings done in acrylic on plywood are connected through color and decoration and represent individual stories of big subject matter; death, seduction, hell, temptation, pride, etc.
The artwork is inspired by rockstar artists like Klimt and Blake and has serious Deco and Noveau influences. There will be 8 pieces in total (all artwork available for sale or exhibition – see contact page.)
